Idol Smith, I'm both a Texan and an Aggie (and hoping to be teaching there again come next year ), and I wouldn't/couldn't/shouldn't vote for that whiteboy after that. OOf.
It's not like he's bad--he's more likely to make an interesting/cool record than at least one of the finalists--but in a singing contest, he's been out-gunned for several rounds.

Just finished watching Castro's 2nd performance and I have to say they were actually worse than Neil Diamond's performance last week.
If he really was a pothead at least there would be an excuse.
I do feel sorry for you, Idolsmith. Tonight must have been hard on your poor husband - knowing that you would be crying all night long. I love those burritos but I feel like I would be doing something morally wrong voting for Castro tonight - also, it would break my non-voting streak of forever. I have to stay non-biased as the commissioner of this league.
Hope you are able to get some sleep tonight.
P.S. - the good news is that Simon said he should pack his bags. That usually works the opposite way. If only Syesha would have sucked ...

Well, I mean please. He took one of the worst beatings in all my viewing seasons of American Idol without saying a word in defense. After a beating like that, it would knock the words right out of your head too.
I liked that he sang Bob Dylan, but must say I said a bad word and walked right out of the room when he started humming. I couldn't believe what was happening. Oh Jason, why? I wish when Randy asked him how he thought he did he would have said something like "Well,I was flawless in dress rehearsal and that's what counts right?." OOOO
Now,I am surprised that someone close to him wouldn't have advised him not to sing ISTS under any circumstances. However, I liked it seeing him have fun. He must have drank a Red Bull or something, because he was really pulling out the moves. I just like this boy and that is that.
And Mrs. SimonSays, don't you know better than to read gossip magazines? Jason meant he wanted to go home for the HOMETOWN VISIT! Stay away from those magazines. Movie stars often find out they are pregnant or getting a divorce when they read them...trash.
I almost feel like I am giving my farewell speech. Because once JC is gone, Mama be gone too.
Well, one more thing before the fat lady sings...What was up with Syesha? Got out her flat iron again and revealing clothes thinking she was in Miss America pageant or something with her Civil Rights speech, crying, wiping her tears. DANG! That ain't right. Sympathy votes, that's all she'll get.

Jason is too cool for this stupid show anyway. Bob Dylan is cool and so is Jason. So he forgot one little jingle jangle. Least he didn't cry about it.

Not only have I voted for Jason, I would buy his CD in a heartbeat.
You might be interested to know that my sister-in-law is in a Small Group at her church in Texas with an employee of Jason's dad. She votes for jason every week so her boss will be in a good mood on Thursdays. Ha!
Maybe someday soon I'll take you up on that burrito offer and share a story about my sordid past in the city by the bay... Grand Traverse Bay, that is. ;-)
